John Kriskinans 03.03.1956 -
John sadly lost his fight to recover after developing a brain tumour last year, which first became apparent whilst on holiday in Italy.
His self will and positive approach meant that he did not give up hope or the fight for life easily. Battling the disease and the extensive post operative treatment with his usual determination over the last 12 months, was typical of his manner of doing everything to the best of his ability.
Not just an ardent cyclist with a whole list of accomplishments behind him, he was a very competent handyman and car mechanic. His love of cars was not just aesthetic, as a young man he would be quite at home tackling any mechanical challenge from essential maintenance right through to increasing the performance... Something all cyclist strive for!
This mechanical aptitude was also evident in the family homes -
A man of many talents was our John, for he also had superb IT and computer skills that lead him to becoming a partner in an International computer based gaming company. The only problem being that it was literally World Wide and John's working day was 24 hours long. Even on holiday or in the middle of the night immediately before an epic sporting challenge such as the 'Marmotte' or the 'Gran Fondo Stelvio' John would field calls from across the globe.
In addition to all this, John Kriskinans always had time for others and would lend a helping hand wherever he saw a need. This and so many other attributes meant that he was extremely well liked and enjoyed a wide circle of friends -
As a family man John was equally well blessed, his loving and devoted wife Dawn was the perfect match and between them they have two wonderful sons Olly & Josh. It is with Dawn, Olly & Josh that our thoughts, love and deepest sympathies lie at this most testing of times.
John's Funeral Service will take place at All Saints Church, Claverley on Wednesday 16th September at 11.00 am.
Following the Service there will be a gathering at the Worfield Cricket Club to remember the good times we all spent with John -
Please note: Dawn has requested that any donations be made to either The Brain Tumour Charity or the Wolverhampton Wheelers Cycling Club.
