Harold Binfield (See also the Junior Cyclocross trophy) was a contemporary of the famous Percy Stallard and a successful rider in his own right around the 1930’s & 40’s. Harold ran a successful trophies and engraving business for many years initially based in Albrighton. He donated this trophy to encourage more veteran riders to ‘have a go’ starting in 1996.
