Presented by Joe Elwell Of Poyners Cycles
This Trophy replaced an earlier one first presented in 1950 – an ornate pewter trophy that was in a poor state of repair.
Joe Elwell the manager of Poyner’s cycles, Wolverhampton, Est. 1905 (no longer operating) had long supported up and coming young riders and this trophy is testament to his legacy.
