This Trophy was donated by Craig Ansell to encourage and to recognise the efforts of our younger riders. Craig was an excellent all-round local rider who achieved success on the track, road and in his favoured discipline, Cyclo-Cross.
Towards the end of his competition years Craig worked tirelessly, coaching hundreds of budding youngsters, some of whom went on to national and even international success.
He became an employee of British Cycling and a great asset to their endeavours.
His father Ron was also a stalwart of the club helping in all manner of events over many years.
