New Message Board/Forum

Our Message Board/Forum will soon be changing. When we signed up for the forum it was promised not to have adverts. However the host company have decided to add adverts and they will not  offer any options to remove them. The adverts are not really suitable for our younger members.

The old forum is still available to read the messages but will soon be disabled for any new posts. The New Forum has not had the adverts removed yet  but they should go in the next few days.

Ian Potts, our race organiser will be looking to hear from members who can volunteer to marshal, cover signing on, drive lead cars etc. Please let Ian know you are able to help by emailing him on bipotts@talktalk.net

 

We have a great reputation for running well organised and marshalled events - please help Ian make this one another success for the Wolverhampton Wheelers. If you have not helped on a race before - don't worry - we will put you with experienced people.

Family Rides
 Details

 

Sociable rides at a gentle pace, for families, (children accompanied by a fairly responsible adult!) or anyone who wishes to join us. You will need to bring suitable clothing (Wet weather gear etc), spare inner tubes/repair kit and a pump as required, food and drink for the duration.

Weekly programme
Monday: Ladies 19:00 to 20:00, road bikes 20:00 to 21:00 (winter), track bikes 20:00 to 21:00 (Summer)  "Spin the weekend acid out of the legs session" Aldersley Track
Wednesday:  Summer: Track league 19:00, winter Track training on road bikes 19:00. (please come to the Friday session for induction before attending the Wednesday if you have not been before.)
Thursday Ladies ride from The Piggot at Pattingham 19:00. Lights required.
Friday Youth session 18:30 to 20:00, Adult training session 20:00 to 21:30. Aldersley Track
Sunday Club Runs 09:30 at Hugh Porter Way, Aldersley Track (See forum/email for ride leaders)
