The Barrie Elson memorial trophy will be competed for in the Youth race 

(venue of Barrie's 1966 schoolboy National Championship triumph).
1st  Schoolboy £100 + Trophy
1st Schoolgirl £25

This has kindly been donated by Adrian Elson (Coventry RC) in memory of his brother Barrie Elson who was tragically killed 40 years ago while out training on his bike. He was the reigning National Schoolboy Cyclo-Cross Champion.

The men’s BUCS championship will be run as part of the senior event and the women’s within the Junior/Vets event.

Gold, Silver and Bronze medals  to first three Men, Women and University teams + BUCS points to Top 4 in the individuals and top 8 in the teams.

Pre entry is required to qualify for the BUCS Cyclo Cross Championships but not for other events.

The club does own a petrol Jet wash.

If you wish to borrow it for a Cross or MTB event please contact Andy Jones.

I will take it to most cross races if it looks like being a muddy event.

It does require a lot of water 5 gallons washes a muddy bike about 5 times so please bring water to use. Some events do have a supply of water. Sometimes this is a stream or lake. When there is  a tap it always seems to be miles from the pits so be prepared to carry.
